What is Sacramento's Second Saturday Art Walk?
VISIT OUR NEW WEBSITE:
On the second Saturday of each month,
galleries in Sacramento, California stay open for a Sacramento Art Walk late
into the evening, iqoptions allowing people to walk from gallery to gallery, viewing,
experiencing and discovering local art galleries and meeting artists.
Second Saturday is a night to wander
about, visit galleries and have fun! You can meet the artists, people
watch, socialize and enjoy time with friends and maybe buy a piece of art or two
and then enjoy a
bite to eat at one of the dozens of restaurants.
While galleries all over Sacramento
participate, galleries are clustered into two main areas:
Midtown Sacramento
and along Del Paso Boulevard in the
Uptown
Art District.
Both of these areas supports a thriving and innovative arts community. The
venues' close proximity, walkable streets, interesting boutiques and restaurants
make these areas perfect for a leisurely walk. More galleries are opening
in
downtown and Old Sacramento, as well.

Many galleries are open regular hours
during the week as well - so don't just visit on Second Saturday - visit
galleries anytime!
We recommend visiting galleries FIRST then
grabbing a bite to eat - as most galleries close by 9pm; however most
restaurants stay open late on Second Saturdays. Still have questions?

Mother-daughter team of Diane and Dawn teamed up a to provide cool art and
floral arrangements and was a big destination on Second Saturdays. A few years
ago the business down-sized to being a floral design company when Diane moved to
San Francisco. Ruby joined the team a couple of years ago and Diane is now back
